마켓플레이스(Marketplace) 설명 및 배경이론
Marketplace is the world’s leading management simulation program in existence. The marketplace developed by ILS in the United States and developed over the past 20 years with the active support of the Tennessee State Government and the Tennessee State University MBA is a major US MBA including MIT, Cornell, and Duke, which is a key component of leading companies such as IBM, Samsung, Disney, and SAP. We have been nurturing talented people. Currently, more than 500,000 students from 55 countries around the world have experienced the marketplace, and in Korea, it is being used by leading companies such as Samsung, LG, SK, Postech, Yonsei University, and Hanyang University, as well as universities and MBA programs.
Participants set up companies to enter the PC business. The goal is to be the number one company in the market. When the simulation starts, management receives funds from the board of directors. You will build factories and offices, design brands, develop new products, and perform all aspects of business such as sales management, production management, and public relations marketing. The simulation results use the Balanced Score Card (BSC), a management scale created by Harvard Business School. Accordingly, learning is carried out while measuring business performance by measuring the appropriateness of profitability, customer satisfaction, market share, human resource management, asset management, and future investment for each team.
The core educational philosophy of Marketplace is “Learning by Doing”. When it comes to business administration, learning hard jargon and learning how to count is important, but doing it yourself is the best way to learn. Conscious Capitalism 과정 소개
This course builds on venture strategy with an emphasis on conscious management. It considers all stakeholders of the company – employees, customers, shareholders and the community – and addresses HR, ethics, environmental and sustainability issues.
Through quarterly decision making, more detailed marketing, financial statements, product development, sales channels, personnel management and production management principles will be covered. Various analysis tools on the quarterly management results announced through competition and collaboration with other companies help the attendees to develop the ability to formulate the company’s sustainable development plan.
In addition, the consciousness management simulation experiences consciousness management different from the existing corporate goal of maximizing revenue generation. It meets the needs of all stakeholders, including customers, shareholders, employees, suppliers and local residents, and takes into account ethical and environmental factors while making existing business decisions. Variables such as employee morale, company reputation, product reliability, environmental pollution, and employee health come into play to measure overall company performance.
